My daily capacity is 8 to 10 pages or about 2500 words per day (the speed would depend on complexity of the text - specifically used acronyms, formulas, style of the original, etc.)

This type of interpreting is commonly used for small meetings - business as well as personal. In the process the speaker has to stop every 1-5 minutes, and then the interpreter renders the message in the target language.
'Chuchotage' (Whispering)
Chuchotage is also a form of interpreting: A linguist stands or sits alongside a small target audience and whispers a simultaneous interpretation of what's being said. The term chuchotage is French for “whispering".
Escort Interpreting
In this type of interpretation, the interpreter accompanies the client to events such as fairs and cultural events, for example guided visits, visiting factories, tourism in cities, formal dinners, etc., where a language which the client does not speak is spoken.
